William D. (Butch) Emmert

As President of Emmert Auction Associates, William “Butch” Emmert has been an auctioneer and sold premier Real Estate in Delaware for over 45 years. He began selling Real Estate at age 19, making him Delaware’s youngest Real Estate Agent at the time. In the ‘70s he began focusing on the Auction business. He attended Nashville Auction School and has continued in the Auction business ever since.

Butch is also a well-known builder/developer and is currently he is a partner in The Preserves at Irons Landing development near Bethany Beach. His Emmert Auction Real Estate division has marketed over 1,500 properties throughout Delmarva and currently holds 40-50 Real Estate and Estate Auctions per year. He was the former “Sales Person of the Year” at Anderson & Stokes, Mae Hall McCabe and Vernon Real Estate.
